About Tara

I’ve been playing disc golf for about 4 years now, I started when I met my husband and soon realized it was something I would be hooked on for life! I am a mother of one little guy who is 7 years old, college student (Behavioral Psychology Ph.D), and I work full time for a pediatric therapy clinic. I am a crazy dog lady and I have two of my own fur babies and when I’m not throwing, being a mom/wife, working, or doing school stuff I like to paint and draw.

 Favorite DG memory

USWDGC 2014 - What an incredible experience! I got to meet so many awesome disc golf ladies and play some of the best courses in the country. It was even more awesome because my husband, Richard, was there to caddy for me and my son even tagged along and he’s my biggest fan!

Why disc golf?

Disc golf feeds my competitive spirit and keeps me active and busy! It’s fun regardless of whether I’m playing a tournament or just a casual round with some friends. It’s something I will be able to do for the rest of my life!
