About Jon

I'm 28 years old. I grew up in a tiny town called Ritchey, MO. (Pop: 72) I've been playing disc golf since 2011.

Favorite disc golf memory:

my favorite memory is when I won the 6th Annual Four States Open in Intermediate. We played 27 holes in the final round and I came back from the 2nd card, 9 strokes out of the lead, hit my first and only tournament ace, tied the leader and won in a 2 hole playoff. It was an awesome day.

Why disc golf?

I play disc golf for a lot of reasons. I've always been competitive and loved playing sports. I love being outside and being active. Disc golf is special though. I've only met a handful of disc golfers that I didn't get along with. Most the people who play have an unexplainable passion for the game and it really brings people together. I've made a lot of friends through disc golf that I probably never would have befriended otherwise.
