About Micah

I live in Joplin, MO with my wife and 2 year old daughter. I’ve been playing disc golf for 4 years now and love being in the outdoors. Don’t care much for long walks on the beach, would rather be in the woods throwing discs.

Favorite DG memory

Probably the first time I went to GBO. Big disc golf events, in general, are great because the stakes are high, the best players in the world are there and there are literally hundreds of players all there to just have a good time.

Why disc golf?

For me, disc golf is a sport that has that rare combo of being both competitive and fun. The camaraderie is unparalleled in all the sports Iv’e played competitively and the aspect of being out in the wild while playing can’t be beat!
