I’m really a simple guy. I currently live in SoCal with my wife Kat, and our two kids. If I’m not disc golfing, I’m probably hanging with the kids, playing some baseball or hockey, or reading a book. On the weekends, if I’m not at a tournament, I’m out repping that #unashamed and hanging with the kids in youth ministry.

Favorite DG memory

That’s tough, but to narrow it down, it’s got to be getting to experience the special place that is Emporia, Kansas, and what Dynamic Discs is doing there every year with the Glass Blown Open… Seriously, the event is insane, the people are phenomenal, and the disc golf is top notch. Simply a MUST play event...

Why disc golf?

Well, I started playing disc golf in the spring of 2014, as a means to get out and exercise, more of a new hobby than anything else. I had three discs and a little starter bag. Boy, I had NO idea what I was doing, or the passion and drive that I was unlocking as I fell in love with this game. Over the last couple of years, with a lot of support from my wife and family, I’ve strived to branch out, and become a better player, a better person, a better ambassador for this amazing sport. So to the future I go, throwing pink plastic as much as I possibly can. Making strives to get as much plastic into the hands of our youth as I possibly can. What does the future hold? Who knows, but I know it’s going to be an EPIC ride… Side note: #hashtags are kind of my thing…
